Hanzimanolis Honored as National Mortgage Broker of the Year

George Hanzimanolis of Tannersville, Pennsylvania, was honored as the Broker of the Year at the National Association of Mortgage Brokers' (NAMB) 2004 Annual Convention and Exposition in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 8. Hanzimanolis is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association Mortgage Brokers (PAMB).

The Broker of the Year is NAMB's most prestigious award and is presented each year to the individual who most embodies the Association's ideals and principals. Fannie Mae is the award sponsor. The selection criteria include commitments to community involvement, quality service and ethics.

"George embodies the values this award represents," said NAMB President Bob Armbruster. "His integrity and commitment to the mortgage industry, as well as his involvement within NAMB, make him a role model for all mortgage brokers."

"George has always been, and continues to be, a key player in the PAMB and we are extremely proud that one of our own has been appropriately honored on a national level," said PAMB President John Anthony.

Hanzimanolis serves on the NAMB Board of Directors and is a member of the NAMB PAC Founders' Club. He is past president of the Pennsylvania Association of Mortgage Brokers and has been honored as 1998 PAMB Mortgage Broker of the Year, 2002 President's Award, 2003 Volunteer of the Year and 2004 President's Award.
